Burial Vault Features and Benefits
The metal lined Bronze, Lydian and Athenian provides three layers of protection. An inner layer of bronze, copper or stainless steel and Doric's unique poly-ribbed ABS Fiberlon® liner is bonded to reinforced concrete to form a rigid barrier against the outside elements. Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is an incredibly strong plastic with greatly enhanced impact and tensil strength and may be reinforced with fibers for added protection and strength. ABS is used in telephone set casing, NFL football helmets and snowmobile casings.
